Organization and operation of the Water Fund
The Water Fund’s organisation and operation are detailed in Spanish Royal Decree 1460/2009, on the organisation and operation of the Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation, approved on 29th September 2009. According to this decree, the Fund has two bodies of its own: the Executive Board and the Advisory Board. The Royal Decree 1424/2012 modified certain aspects relating to the Advisory Board, establishing that it would be chaired by the person holding the post of Secretary of State for International Cooperation.
